Rafferty Jackson is a passionate brand and business builder who operates from an innovation, culture and legal lens. From startups to Fortune 500 companies, software and hardware technologies to consumer product goods, she has helped companies through hyper growth, investments, global expansion, divestitures, acquisitions and IPO. Rafferty led Legal/Corporate Development, Human Resources, Strategy/Business Development and Real Estate/Facilities at the Beats by Dr. Dre brand which was sold with Beats Music to Apple for $3B. Jackson was Vice President and General Counsel of VF Outdoor, Inc. where she was responsible for The North Face, Vans, JanSport, Reef, lucy and Eagle Creek apparel/footwear/equipment brands. She was awarded the 2013 Advocacy Leadership Award by the Outdoor Industry Association for her efforts as the Chairman of the Trade Advisory Counsel to raise the profile of the Outdoor Industry in Washington DC and internationally. Rafferty led Ubiquity Software, a SIP application server in the VOIP network, through an IPO on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange and subsequently sold the company to Avaya. Currently, she shortens the distance to success for start-ups and established businesses at Jack Industries, a business support and development services company. She is also an Astia Global Angel Investor and Advisor, focused on women founded or women inventor high growth start-ups. She is a member of the Board of Directors at the Muscle Shoal Music Foundation, a nonprofit leading the renovation and reopening of the famous Muscle Shoals Sound Studio, and is currently fundraising $50,000 for the STOP Girl Trafficking Initiative of the American Himalayan Foundation to save 500 girls from slavery in Nepal through education.
