Executive Director, ManTech International
Mr Scott Wierzbanowski has served as lead programmatic support contractor for the DARPA sponsored Experimental Spaceplane (XS-1) for the last 2 years. He is also an Executive Director for ManTech International, Space and Advanced Technologies Division, responsible for resource planning and tasking of 75+ SETA, engineering, IT, and administrative professionals supporting various DARPA, DOE, DTRA, and DASD clients. Mr Wierzbanowski served for 20 years in the USAF with extensive experience in program management, foreign disclosure, and Test and Evaluation of advanced weapon systems. He has held positions as F-16 Chief Test Pilot responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple flight test programs ranging from new weapons integration to F-16 envelope expansion; Training Systems Pilot Lead for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program Office; and Chief of Combat Weapon Systems working for the Deputy Under Secretary of the Air Force, International Affairs. Mr Wierzbanowski graduated from the Air Force Academy in 1992 and the French Test Pilot School, École du Personnel Navigant d'Essais et de Réception (EPNER), in 2001. He holds advanced degrees in Astronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, and Systems Engineering. Mr Wierzbanowski has acquired substantial understanding of the technical and programmatic complexities of new flight test programs. His focus areas are advancing technologies supporting Reusable Space Launch and the seamless integration of affordable autonomous and semi-autonomous air systems into the battlespace.
