Curt Blake is President of Spaceflight Services, the division of Spaceflight dedicated to managing small satellite launches, from sales to mission management to launch. Mr. Blake has overseen Spaceflight’s first four commercial rideshare launches on the Antares, Soyuz and Dnepr vehicles, and was instrumental in the company’s purchase of a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and its lunar mission scheduled for 2017. Prior to this role, Blake served as Spaceflight’s Senior Vice President and General Counsel. He has led efforts to expand the company’s global network of launch service providers while building relationships with key commercial-, civilian- and defense-related customers. Blake has more than 25 years of executive experience in high-growth and tech industries, with past experience including a range of senior executive and general counsel roles at Microsoft, Starwave, Corbis and Aldus. He is a current member of the Commercial Spaceflight Federation Board and is a well regarded speaker at numerous small-satellite conferences.
